Check for updates
These extensions are installed from a file, so your browser does not update them for you. This page compares the version you have with the latest release.
If the extension is installed in this browser, this page asks it for its version number (it replies with nothing else) and shows the result below. You can also open this page from the extension's popup with Check for updates.

What's new in the latest release
- 0.6.0
- Update check: the popup shows its version with a Check for updates link, and this website can tell you when a newer release exists (the extension itself still makes no network request).
- Fixed extension id. Because of this, update from an older version once by removing it and using Load unpacked on the new folder; later updates can simply replace the files and reload.

Installed before update notices existed?
Update notices need version 0.6.0 or later of AnyTool Screenshot, or 0.4.0 or later of the Font & CSS Inspector and the Smart Data Extractor. Older copies cannot be detected by this website and have no Check for updates link in their popup, so they will not show a notice until you update them once by hand.
- Download the new ZIP above and extract it to a folder.
- Open
chrome://extensions(oredge://extensions) and choose Remove on the old copy. - Choose Load unpacked and select the new folder.
This one step is needed because the extensions now have a fixed identity that the website can recognise. After it, updates are just replacing the files and pressing reload, and this website will tell you when one is available. Nothing is lost: the extensions keep no settings or history.
How to update
- Download the new ZIP above and extract it. Compare its SHA-256 with the value shown.
- Copy the extracted files over your existing extension folder, replacing what is there.
- Open
chrome://extensions(oredge://extensions) and click the reload button (circular arrow) on the extension's card. - If you extracted to a new folder instead, remove the old copy and use Load unpacked on the new folder.
- The version on the card should now match the latest above. A reload never opens a welcome tab.
More detail, including what Developer mode is, is on the install page.
