Common problems
Why does an extension say a page can't be used?
Browsers do not let extensions run on their own pages (chrome://, edge://), on the Chrome Web Store or Microsoft Edge Add-ons, or on some built-in viewers. Open a normal website and try again.
It worked a moment ago and now it asks me to click the icon again.
The extensions use the activeTab permission, so access ends when you navigate or close the tab. Click the toolbar icon again on the page you want to use.
Local files (file://) don't work.
In your browser's extensions page, open the extension's details and turn on Allow access to file URLs.
I can't find the toolbar icon.
Click the puzzle-piece Extensions button in the toolbar and pin the extension so its icon stays visible.

Installing and updating
The extensions are downloaded from this site and loaded with Developer mode. The install guide covers Chrome and Edge, how to verify a download, how to update manually, and what to do if the manifest is not found.
